AOF/Pacific Affordable Housing Corp. was incorporated in 1997 as a nonprofit affordable housing organization and is a subordinate of The American Opportunity Foundation, Inc.
With offices located in California and Washington, we are able to participate in a wide range of affordable housing communities with diverse geographic locations including California, Washington, Oregon, Illinois, and Arizona.
AOF/Golden State Community Development Corporation, a Community Housing Development Organization (“CHDO”) is an affiliated entity of AOF/Pacific.

To create, preserve and operate quality affordable housing for low-to-moderate income individuals, seniors and families.
We accomplish our mission by collaborating with our developer partners, and through our ownership and operation of affordable housing communities throughout the U.S.

Our core business has historically been working alongside affordable housing developers and owners, helping to unlock critical project financing to create, preserve and rehabilitate affordable housing of all types.
As we have grown and evolved, we have developed an MGP+ platform to further our mission by providing creative financial support for our partners in the arenas of acquisition, development, rehabilitation and operations.

Kathy T. Walker
Senior Vice President, Finance and Trustee
Kathy has over twenty years of experience in the affordable housing industry. She joined AOF/Pacific in 2008 as Vice President, was appointed to the Board of Trustees in 2010, and promoted to President in early 2020. Her background
includes financial analysis, audits and due diligence on potential acquisitions. She is passionate about providing support to our communities and the residents we serve.
Sara Fay
Senior Vice President, NW Division
Sara has nearly three decades of experience in the development and ownership of affordable housing. She has also provided consulting services to other Developers of affordable communities nationwide.
Ajay Nayar
Vice President
Ajay has over a decade of experience in the non-profit field related to multi-family affordable housing and has helped grow AOF/Pacific Affordable Housing Corp. since 2008.

Andrew Stephen Jones
Mr. Jones joined the Board of Trustees in 2001. He currently works for Arden Industries as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing in Huntington Beach, California.
L. Ried Schott
Mr. Schott has been a Trustee since 2012. He has held executive positions with an international appraisal firm, a regional bank, a real estate developer, an investment banker and a pension fund advisor involving multifamily and
commercial real estate.
William Fisher, III
Mr. Fisher, III has been a member of the Board of Trustees since 2019. He currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Rice Capital Access. Previously, he served as the original Designated Bonding Authority for the Department of
Education’s HBCU Capital Financing Program.
